Cold Calling.

Cold Calling.

Dear Residents,

On the date of 24th September two males in a van were out and about with the intention of deception , hoping to trick victims out of money for services offered on the doorsteps of residents. These men offered to cut a tree back and tried to claim an extortionate price . Thankfully on this occasion they left with nothing . This occurred in the area of Pontesbury, but as we all know they will travel miles .

Residents are advised to:

If they refuse to leave ring 999 and lock your doors .

Regards from your local Safer Neighbourhood Team.
